I guess this wasn’t the first time Obama used the Auschwitz tale, except that when he told the story in 2002, it was his grandfather and not his uncle who helped liberate the concentration camps that were actually liberated by the Soviet Army (not Patton).

My grandfather signed up for a war the day after Pearl Harbor was bombed, fought in Patton’s army. He saw the dead and dying across the fields of Europe; he heard the stories of fellow troops who first entered Auschwitz and Treblinka.

This is just getting egregious…
