Not that it will make much difference, but North Carolina Governor Mike Easley (D) has endorsed Sen. Hillary Clinton (D-NY) over Sen. Barack Obama (D-Ill) in the state’s upcoming Democratic primary. Polls still show Obama with a comfortable lead in the state, but this could be a sign that the superdelegates are starting to see Obama as a liability in a general election matchup verses Sen. John McCain (R-Ariz).
