Castro Stepping Down

Cuban Communist dictator Fidel Castro, at age 81, will be stepping down after a half century as the leader of the small Carribean island.  His brother Raul is widely expected to succeed him.

President Bush is calling for a “democratic transition.”  Yawn… Let me know how that works out.  I’d love a good cigar once that trade embargo ends.  I’m not holding my breath, though.

  1. Mike Huckabee says to you, “Not so fast, JLG! I’m banning smoking!”

  2. Ha… well it looks like there’s a better chance of the trade embargo being lifted than Huckabee moving into the White House.
