The recent admission by Congressman John Murtha (D-PA) that he thinks “the surge is working,” sure is a far cry from what he said during this interview last July when he called early success from the troop surge in Iraq, “an illusion.”

Good thing we didn’t take his advice, surrender, and pull out immediately giving terrorists a major victory in the War on Terror, huh?
