Beam Me Up Kucinich

Rep. Dennis Kucinich (D-OH) is trying to reinvigorate his failing presidential campaign by introducing articles of impeachment for Vice President Dick Cheney, accusing him of “abuse of power.”  Don’t you love it when Liberals get specific?!  Anyway, despite the support of 21 co-sponsors (all Democrats, of course), the measure is given little chance of even receiving a vote on the House floor.

Kucinich, already worried about the failure of his motion, is working on plan B.  It’s not completely finished yet, but ultimately he’s hoping his outer space buddies will return and wisk Cheney away to a distant galaxy.

  1. It’s amazing to see how politicians, instead of acting on the good of the people, make obvious strides to be partisan and boost their personal standing within THEIR party. I understand the concept of the 2 parties, but I sure do think people should act individually in the best interest of their constituents first and the nation as a whole.

  2. [...] much support so it’s difficult to say who his departure helps the most, but I would say the Democrat Party. Posted in Campaigns & Elections. Tags: 2008 Election, Democrat Party, Dennis Kucinich, News, [...]
